I have my hook knive on my left leg strap-close to my hip...I`ve seen many skydivers, including FF coaches, who have theirs installed in the padded part of the harness on their chest with a button clip, (on the shoulder were the padding ends and the housing starts to show-close to the chest strap). 1. In what part of the rig should it be installed for quick acces? 2. Should we all have the hook knive sharpened every now and then...For example...every reserve re-pack, for it to be able to function well in case of emergency? LiquidSky @(^_^)@

..Iván!...Don`t worry...I`ll take pictures of your landings this weekend. LiquidSky @(^_^)@ -

Yeah!!! Those pictures are wierd. I mean,...if they are pictures of a "swooper"..... Makes me wonder....does he knows what "swooping" is?? I mean, it great that he is flying that canopy, with his wing loading and everything,...but...it seems he is is coming straight fwd....and I`ve seen some AFF students land like that or...even more hardcore! I`m sorry, but maybe,...we need to see more of this. I`m sure it`ll clear any questions that -we ALL in this thread-have about him. LiquidSky @(^_^)@

Wow!...That`s even better. I said Woolite because Chris Martin, from Presicion Aerodynamics had send me 2 BirdMan Demo suits that he owns, for us (at the dz) to try them out once more. When I recieved them they were very dirty. I asked him if I could wash them and he was the one who told me: "with very cold water". I guess warm/cold water did not damage yours, but I just followed orders from the owner of the suits. Maybe Tide did the trick for you...Who knows?! I guess is up to the owner. LiquidSky @(^_^)@

Don`t trash it!!!! Take a shower with it...Yeah! Buy Whoolite and in cold water pour some Whoolite and rub the suit against it on the spots where grass stain exists. I have done this before. I don`t know if a grass stain will remove completely, but at least the dirt and other dirty stuff will come out. Keep rubbing and run cold water on the suit until all the detergent is gone. Once finished, get a clothes hanger and hang it in your shower (where the curtain hangs). Let it dry. Good luck. LiquidSky @(^_^)@

Well the only DZ in the Island opens only on weekends,...and weekdays also, but only if there is a big group of tandems or students. So I jump every weekend and I`m also a packer so I jump every chance I get. LiquidSky @(^_^)@

Sony IP5 in a BoneHead DBox???
mirochristie replied to mirochristie's topic in Photography and Video
Thank You. And NO, he doesn`t check these Forums. He should. I FWD this relies to him and he decided that he is going to buy a new helmet. One for camera use and his Gath for fun jumps. I think he already order an L bracket and all. I think he is going to get an Optik helmet or Hawkeye. I really don`t know. Thank you anyways. LiquidSky @(^_^)@ -

Well it wasn`t a flock....I wished! I had a 4 way already organized. Chris Martin (Precision) was going to take my friend for a one on one (his first time on a BirdMan suit) and we would fly next to him. This didn`t happen because we opted fot the regular speed-first pass and ...this "regular" speed NEVER happened....My friend could not exit properly,...he looked like a piece of paper blasted by the wind and Chris got to him quickly after exit. He and Chris were tooooooooo low for me so I ended up making a 2 way. But it was worth it....It was great. We were flying over a bead of clouds and a perfect orange sunset. Oh, man!!! Well, anyways...we made that jump on the 9th. LiquidSky @(^_^)@

Cool album and great pictures. Sounds like you had a blast, huh? I got stuck at Rantoul during the WFFC and couldn`t make it to Skydive Chicago. Well, anyways, it was good to see Missy smiling for the camera short after her father`s accident Those girls do kick ass.... GIRL POWER LiquidSky @(^_^)@ -
Really??? Well, nice meeting you anyways! We were always at the Precision tent. We met Chris Martin last boogie on February 2003 and he was the one who taught me how to fly like a BirdMan. Had a blast at WFFC, even though the weather did not cooperate. I have more pictures of my trip to Rantoul in my msn web album. C-Ya LiquidSky @(^_^)@

I don`t know!!! But is true. It`s called epinephrine. It is the adrenaline inside the human body...I don`t know if it`s written that way, but it`s because the body has this by it`s nature, but certain people (Us!...adrenaline junkies) need MORE of this. And once we taste some...WE NEED MORE, AND MORE, AND MORE AND....there goes our bank account! LiquidSky @(^_^)@

Sony IP5 in a BoneHead DBox???
mirochristie replied to mirochristie's topic in Photography and Video
A skydiver friend just bought a Sony IP5 and a BoneHead DBox but the record button is on the side that goes to the helmet (in) and its impossible to turn the camera on without opening the box. Thought about: •CamEye II but the plug doesn't match with the camera. • Switching the Box to the other side of the helmet and drilling a hole on side, but don't want to try that option. • Buying an L bracket, but already bought the DBox. Anyone with an IP5 have asugestions on what to do? LiquidSky @(^_^)@
