I love that!!! 4 years ago, for Father`s Day, I gave my dad a framed 8x10 pic of my AFF Instructor and me. It was my 3rd AFF Jump and he was beside me watching me fly "solo" w/ a huge grin on my face. He LOVED it! So, I`m hoping my mom will love this one also as much. LiquidSky @(^_^)@

That`s nice!...Really sweet. My mom was a dancer (early years) and now she is a dance teacher. But through the years I`ve given her lost of dancing stuff. It has gotten old. This will be totaly different. LiquidSky @(^_^)@

Ok, for Mother`s Day....what will you give her? I`m thinking of framing a pic where my grandpa and my mom are walking me along the shore. Is this cool? What do you think? LiquidSky @(^_^)@

I feel that I need it so I can pay my house, my jumps, trips, extras and more. But to be honest, I`m the kind of person who forgets to pick up her check at the end of the week. So I guess, I need the money because I have things to pay, but if not... I wouldn`t even think about it. I guess I`m kindda "flower child" LiquidSky @(^_^)@

Ever wonder what happens to those people that really learn photoshop?
mirochristie replied to hookitt's topic in The Bonfire
of course you DO USE that program for work (in your case), but what I said was that the ones who "invest" their times doing these types of incredible animals, usually are great artists w/o a real job. I`m saying this because it takes lots of time to create one of those alone, so to have time to make all of those animals,...well, you do need lots of free time. Whatever!, this is "Bonfire", right?!...I can say what I want! LiquidSky @(^_^)@ -

How do you call it when people collect dead animals and keep them as an art piece? taxidermy? LiquidSky @(^_^)@ -

What`s really sad, it`s that these people ("who really learn photoshop"- as you say), is that they don`t have a real job. This is ALL they do at home. If they had a job (like in an Advertisement Agency), they wouldn`t have much time left to play w/ Photoshop at home. And I bet they`d be fed up w/ it. LiquidSky @(^_^)@ -
JAJAJA!!!! You sound just like my husband, and a good friend of mine. They bought S3`s w/ only a couple of jumps in a Classig and GTI`s. They look so funny flying the S3. They haven`t been able to max it out yet! I know exactly how you feel (phisically), same thing happens to them. LiquidSky @(^_^)@

#1. Lots of jumps. Be able to keep up w/ a really bad FF newbie. To be able to follow him/her accros the sky, never loose sight of him/her so you can later debrief. You also need to take care of yourself (that`s why I started w/ "lots of jumps). You need to back away or get close in a blink of an eye. It can get scary (I bet). And last but not least....to be able to communicate well (on ground and sky), have patience, keep a smile, be cool and HUMBLE about it! That`s what I think. LiquidSky @(^_^)@

You are kidding me, right? God! LiquidSky @(^_^)@

Have you been surprised? (serious question)
mirochristie replied to AggieDave's topic in The Bonfire
Yes. I have. Totally shocked for the ones I thought had tons of jumps, and also for the ones I thought didn`t have any. LiquidSky @(^_^)@ -
