    That may very well be the case, but it doesn't change the fact that the middle class is shrinking. We are more and more becoming a nation of poor and rich. Poor people can't pick up the tax burden, so it skews even heavier towards the rich. If we get rid of the middle class entirely then the rich can pay 100% of the tax burden.

    The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Why is this never mentioned when these numbers are tossed around? These numbers reflect this trend. As more and more people lose their incomes more of the tax burden will be taken up by the rich. The solution is not to lower the tax rate for the top earners, it is to increase the amount earned by the lower wage earners (and therefore increase the amount of the tax burden that they pay).

    Meh. After the intensity of the last few episodes I felt rather let down. A few oh shit moments, but nothing like previous episodes. All in all a good season. Better than I expected after the first few episodes from the new writers. Definitely not as good as the previous seasons. Hopefully they'll pick up their game before next year.

Believe it or not I was a member of the GOP just a few years ago. I actually campaigned for Ron Paul. I have since became disgusted at the reality of the party. They do not stand for their stated principles anymore. They have been taken over by the dumb shits. Real conservative values are a thing of the past.

    Would probably be a little boring now, but that's what got me in to skydiving. Well, actually, that's what made me want to base jump, which combined with my dream of wingsuiting got me in to skydiving. Having never jumped anything before the adrenaline was nuts. The ride down was pretty slow, but that initial jump and acceleration was out of control.

If you were a vegetarian, it would be a different story. FWIW, I pretty much agree with you, but at least I admit I am a hypocrite. You do realize that pigs have families, and are smart, and can feel pain right? But, damn bacon sure does taste good.

    That's one of the most ridiculous statements I have read in a long time. Now, if you added the word RACIAL to that I would agree. But to argue that randomly selecting people for intensive screening makes us safer than using profiling and behavioral science is ridiculous.

This has already been stated multiple times. OMG! Your not suggesting profiling... are you!???! You've been trolling for a profiling response this entire time. I don't know about your past history of posting so I'm not going to go there. What I am suggesting is that tsa agents should be specialized in knowing how to spot mannerisms that suggest suspicion. Someone that's a nervous wreck and sweating bullets should be pulled aside for additional screening as soon as they are spotted. Little old lady from Oklahoma shouldn't even be bothered.
