Oakley Fuel Cells in freefall

I jump with a pair of milspec m frames that work great. Not one shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious. -
I'm finally moving home in a few weeks. I haven't lived there in almost 8 years now. I'm sure that there are many other military types on here that can appreciate the feeling. I've visited a dozen times, but not for any length of time. It is going to be weird. It's home, but hasn't been "home" in a long time. Its funny. I've never lost touch with my close friends from high school. Those that have stayed have almost no interesting stories. I've carried a gun for my country while doing the Marine thing. I've raced motorcycles on tracks here in California. I am now a licensed skydiver with my "B" license. It'll be weird seeing people again that I haven't talked to in years and explaining what my life has become. Not one shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious.

I simply jump with my M-Frames and a brainstrap attached to them. Its annoying having to deal with the eye boogers that get on them, but whatever. Next will be jumping wearing a pair of froggers. Not one shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious.

This was an interesting read. Being a noob(41 jumps as of today), I thought I would throw in my two cents on this... I currently have one of the new GoPro HD's that I use on my motorcycle routinely. I use it on the track and I use it on the street. For shooting simple videos for myself and friends, it works great. I certainly wouldn't try to seriously pawn off the vid it shoots to somebody for $70. I have yet to attach to my lid and jump with it. I am very hesitant to do this as all of the talk about the negatives of doing this that I've heard from the day I got my A license. If mounted properly, I have a hard time imagining the risks it poses in regards to it being a snag hazard. I would think that for it to get snagged, something else would have had to happen to cause it (like deploying on your back). Now, as far as it being a distraction, I can fully understand that. While 200 jumps may just be an arbitrary number, it is a good suggestion. I plan on waiting till I am at well over a hundred before mounting mine. One thing that I haven't heard being mentioned is to do some solo jumps after mounting it and getting used to having it there while not having another jumper with you as an additional distraction. I would think that this would be a good idea. Not one shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious.

All the little things about cameraflying...

This was a great read. I would really like to fly cam someday, but seeing as I just did my 41st today, it'll be a while. Not one shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious. -
Ha, that was pretty cool. Not one shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious.

I just got my A license the other day and figured it was time to go ahead and register here. I jump in Perris CA and love it there. Give me another month of jumping and I'll have my B license. I'd be out jumping today, but between doing three a day for a few days, packing my own rig, and riding almost a 1,000 mi on my Daytona, my body is smoked. So yeah, hi everybody!
