    well, even though i did not use QR for some time, now that i do, my life is sooo much easier... i like it the most because of the fact, that i can take off my camera or my photocamera easily and take far better ground or in plane shots then if i would have done with them still attached to the helmet...     I am using one, and yes, i drilled the wholes all the way through. I also made a 3rd one. I made the beginning of the holes deeper, so that the screw does not interfeer with the top plate.     To all: me and Grega are NOT talking about the Radical that CobaltDan is making, we are talking about the ones that Stane from AtAir Slovenija is making. I am not 100% sure, but him and CobaltDan parted their ways a long time ago, that's why i am 99% sure, that the 2 canopies are not the same... unless, CoaltDan copied it from Stane...     I also own a Radical 105. It's end cells have 3 compartments, but are not X-braced. I also love it, but at first i did not like it because of some heavy duty spanking i got on openings. But, as prooven so many times before, it was due to packing: i left the nose exposed. Now that i push it in to the pack job, it opens really soft. It's flight characteristics are also impressive.     The following pics were taken with this lens and my old analogue Canon EOS 500: http://www.padalstvo.com/e107_plugins/coppermine_menu/thumbnails.php?album=83 I used manual settings, and all of the pics turned out OK, except for the sharpness. The only problem i have, are the black areas in the corners, which is due to the mounting. Otherwise, i really like it.     My camera says DV-in, and since it works, i'd guess it is correct. Hm, the laptop should automatically find the camera, so i see only 3 options: wrong drivers (which in my knowledge should not be a problem with PCMCIA cards) or faulty card (test it on another laptop) or faulty PCMCIA slot on your notebook (try conecting some other PCMCIA card to it).
