  1. Hi there!! I've checked and rechecked the site of the pro swooping tour more then once, but couldn't find a understandable definition of a swoop... well, the thing that i don't understand is, how is the end of the swoop defined --> what does "till the first point of contact" mean? Does the swoop end where the swooper puts his leg(s) down on the earth? Does it count as an end of the swoop if someone touches the grass with his knees for a millisecond or not?? Why I am asking this, our club is organizing a swoop competition this weekend, based on the ADVANCED distance rules, and we are having a lot of trouble and argument about what exactly defines the end of a swoop... In my opinion, if someone touched the grass during the swoop with anything else but the sole's, this wouldn't count as the end of the swoop... but as soon as someone would put a sole down, this would count as the end of the swoop... So, does this make any sense, or should we just addopt the simple and understandable rule: FIRST POINT OF CONTACT? 2. hm... the last time i made fun of such a act of stupidity, i made one myself... the lesson i learned: don't underestimate the power of stupidity... Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  3. Weak minded - not so much. monoglot - possibly. And yes, my spelling in slovenian is awful, but i thought i was reading english. And i may be lacking slovenian language skills, but at least i do not lack a sense of humor or tact. I can only hope that i may one day attain a minute portion of the brilliance you must possess. i'm terribly sorry for my misspelling, but hey, it does sound kind off creepy to say that i would sew someone down, doesn't it? on a side note, wouldn't it be better to just correct me? anyway, i really hope this was the last post about spelling in this thread, for after all, it is intended to see the always funny tandem exit shots!!!!!

  6. 1st of all, i like skin, especially women's skin... i like it a lot but, i am lurking and watching dz.com on a regular basis for a couple of years now, and haven't ever seen such a huge number of pics of naked skin in this forums... not ever... so, does it have to do with the constalation of the stars? are we part of some new-age sexual revolution? is it just the part of the year, when everybody wants to meet a compagnion for the cold winter season?? here's why i'm asking this question: it also seems to me, that the number of pregnant women and new born children has rapidly risen in the past few months... at least here in Slovenia... i mean, you can meet at least 5 or 6, if not even more, pregnant women in one day here... and we're a small country don't get me wrong, post as many of your naked pics as humanly possible!!!!! i'm just wondering why now Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  7. if i was on one of those pics, i'd sew you for posting them on the internet they're hillarious!!! Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org

  10. ehm, sorry to get in so late... i think it's going to sound a bit off-topic, but anyway... dude, i can totally understand how high you feel it's the best feeling in the world, isn't it? i mean, swooping the grass (if it's even for only 10 feet), and gently taking it up in the air again... WOOOOHOOOoooo!!!!! i can still remember how i felt when i swooped my old Raider 220 for the first time... anyway: keep it up, bro, but please, be safe!! just don't bounce... ok?
  11. that reminds me of my dad: he to fell into you-know-what, but not during a jump... he fell of a beam supporting power lines (he is an electrician)... he to had some broken bones, but nothing serious i don't know if his PLF experience that he gathered in the 6 jumps he made helped? Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  12. i got hurt sometimes, nothing serious, never had to go to a hospital... but it wasn't skydiving that hurt me, it was me not paying attention to the landing, but to a nice set of boobs i was flying over... so does it count if it was my stupidity that hurt me during skydiving? Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  13. hm, was the gold medal flying our way?? Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  14. I know, I know... we were just pissed for being so stupid and not coming earlier even though we were talking about the chance of an early end of the competition... Anyway, see you next year
  15. Well, here's the biggest problem i have: i wan't to jump it as soon as possible!!! Even if i had allready jumped it, it would still be to late!!!! I allready set my mind to use a hard box for the camera, since i plan to use it for a very long time, but who knows, maybe the child in me will want to use right away Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  16. For me the best music for FF is some groovy and jumpy tech/house/trance song or part of a DJ set (especially the happy tunes Carl Cox, Sasha or Sputnik mix together)... Anything that makes me want to smile and jump around to the beat Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  17. I just purchased a brand new TRV-33, and am wondering what's the best and safest solution to mount it on my helmet (handmade copy of the Optik). Well, i know the best one would be a housing, but just in case i change my mind, how did you all mount your camera to the helmet? More precisely, what holds it to the helmet? Thanks for the info
  18. no, we never thought they would wait for a bunch of Slovenian skydivers that drove 2 hours to get there (and it sure ain't easy to find that place)... we ain't that proud... but their website stated that they would jump both days till the sunset... so go figure well, check it out for yourself: http://www.skyday.net anyway, we'll for sure go there next year, but a lot earlier then this year Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  19. [reply come on, puff puff pass, lets go you've got it all wrong, it's puff puff give well, most of the times, till someone starts explaining the concept of life Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  20. me and my friends were there on sunday at 16:00, only to see a bunch of spectators fight for some goodies that were thrown out of a van and no more swooping, since the competition was allready over so much for the jumping till the sunset Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  21. well, no matter what i or anybody else does in this kind of situation, there's always a hazard involved: 1. i open my main up high (let's say above 1.500 meters) --> i'm a hazard to the jumpers who are behind me, plus some other hazards which were already discussed 2. i open my reserve at normal opening altitude (800 meters) --> i could get unconscious because of the enormous opening shock, or, less likely, but still possible, i could have a mal on the reserve... as for your question, i meant that i would open my main up high (the moment i caught my zooming toggle) at some 1.500 meters...
  22. hehe, i hope it doesn't happen again, but if it does, i'll again hold the loose toggle in my hand, but this time deploy my main, no matter how high i am! thanks for all the advice
