  1. ehm, insane in the membraine, insane in the brain but mighty cool!!!!! Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  2. I own an rather old and worn out Ace 100 (YOM 98, some 800 jumps), but it still flies very well (I have some 300 jumps on him). It's toggle turns are quite fast, the front riser pressure is a bit big. It doesn't loose a lot of altitude in any type of turns (in my opinion). It does plane out, it's swoops can be very long, as long as the approach is set up correctly. And mine doesn't seem to have a lot of bottom end flare (but I believe that I just don't know it that well to get it out of it). In my opinion it's a very nice canopy, with nice, soft openings (mine are getting a bit worse, probably because of the line set) with most of them on heading Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  3. no, not me hehe, it's just a joke... i believe you don't understand a word of that song, so i'll try to translate it: let's go 'round and 'round and have a lot of fun today, polka is the way to go, polka is the best hehe, or something like that... btw, thanks on the thumbs up
  4. Well, I've finally made it. In my opinion, it's quite better then the 1st I've made, but who am I to judge http://www.skydivingmovies.com/ver2/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=1429 I hope you'll like it edit: it's name is SLO_banzai.wmv edit2: Thank you very much mr. 5. wow, thanks man, you really made my day
  6. No, that isn't George, it's my teammate Uroš. Hehe, George is a LOT bigger than this. Well, the guy was and still isn't experienced enough to do camera, at least not by "your" (plural) standards. But here, in Slovenia, our standards are a lot different. Let's just say he made a mistake and learned from it (thankfully not the hard way). And Nac, you have to listen to the music!! God damn it, that's the thing i'm most proud of in that movie Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  7. Howdie Hoo Nac! How's it going? Thanks for the comments: well, I was really trying hard to trim the clips, but I had also set myself the goal to trim the whole movie as much as possible to the music, and not vice versa, but it wasn't allways possible (i hope this makes sense). As for the reserve: (shaggy style) it wasn't me... Really, we were on a nice 3 way, and I saw the whole incident. Well, he had enough altitude to stabilize himself, but he panicked Thank god everything turned out OK. Especially the footage And for the Premiere issues: 7.0 is so much better then the 6.5, I can hardly believe So long! 12. can't tell you anything about the reserve or the container, but i owned an old raider 220, and liked it very much... hehe, it wasn't in a great shape, to be completely hones, it was pretty fucked up (as far as the fabric is concerned)... but sill, it flew a OK, had the nicest and gentlest openings i ever experienced... but be prepared for some PLFs, especially in no wind conditions... and try to flare it a bit higher then usual with a ZP canopy... HAVE FUN!!! Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  13. i made my first jump on a fully ellyptical AtAir Alpha 130 at around 120 jumps, then, for some 200 jumps tryed a lot of different canopies (from 95 to 150 sqft), and finally bought an Alpha 100... am still alive, no injuries... but i know i'm no wonder kid and immune to accidents... as for your question what to do, i'd recommend you to try a lot of canopies out, before deciding on buying one... 14. 15. thanks!! hm, to get rid of the helmet on the tape, i only have to zome in something like 5 to 10% (still way inside the analogue zoom)... well, i guess i'll just have to wait and try it out
  16. no no, i do understand what a wide angle lens does to the footage, but am worried about the affect of the wide angle lens + a little bit of zoom (with which it is possible to get rid of the itzy winny little bit of helmet) on the footage... i hope i put it in a more understandable way now
  17. i apologize for my rudness to come into this thread and ask a question which might be a bit off topic, but i have the same problem and a question regarding that: does the little bit of zoom do any harm to the footage, or doesn't affect it in anyway? thanks! 18. ain't there no easy way out? but seriously, how come that every time i use the "constant gain or power" audio dissolve, the outcome on final and exported piece just doesn't sound the same as on the timeline? could there be a tinny box that should be (un)crossed and i know nothing about that? Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
  19. Well, i just finished my new video, complete with sound, and must say that it looks kind of neet But i have some serious problems when i export it (either as DV avi or any other form): the audio just doesn't sound right... when ever i have 2 audio tracks (music in the background and the sound of the wind in the foreground), i get this strange and annoying sounds, just like on the old vinyls (LP)... in addition to that, every time i use the "constant gain" audio transition, it sounds like crap... But it is ok when playing on the timeline... i use some mp3, and some wma files... i have noticed, that only the mp3s and the wmas that have poor quality cause the problems... but anyway, i don't think that will solve my problem with the 2 audio tracks... So please advise... i just don't know what to do... Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org
