+1 PD did something right when they designed the Stiletto and it is still a great canopy. It would be interesting to consider how the original (or current?) Stiletto design could be tweaked to make a 'Version 2', but that would be a bit off topic for this thread.

He may have had other plans long before you got there. And this problem cuts both ways. I had recently been in the tunnel with an incredible coach and flier and within the next week, he asked me in the loading area if I wanted to jump with him. I said 'thank you, no' because I was planning to do a hop-n-pop. Some people are cautious about changing plans in the loading area and some people may be planning to work on a specific skill or learning objective that requires focus -- or may be a different discipline from what you are planning. Have respect for that.

The writer is just as entitled to her paranoia as the guy with the gun and just as entitled to express her concerns. The guy with the gun is certainly within his rights to carry, but having lived in Cedar Rapids for over 40 years, I don't believe it is necessary for personal protection. http://thegazette.com/subject/opinion/blogs/lynda-waddington/why-your-gun-makes-me-nervous-20150110

http://www.songlyrics.com/megadeth/high-speed-dirt-lyrics/ Do it if you dare, leaping from the sky Hurling through the air, exhilarating high See the earth below, soon to make a crater Blue sky, black death, I'm off to meet my maker Energy of the Gods, adrenalin surge Won't stop till I hit the ground, I'm on my way for sure Up here in the air, this will never hurt I'm on my way to impact, taste the high speed dirt Paralyzed with fear, feel velocity gain Entering a near, catatonic state Pressure of the sound roaring through my head Crash into the ground, damned if I'll be dead Energy of the Gods, adrenalin surge Won't stop till I hit the ground, I'm on my way for sure Up here in the air, this will never hurt I'm on my way to impact, taste the high speed dirt Jump or die! Dropping all my weight, going down full throttle The pale horse awaits like a genie in a bottle Fire in my veins faster as I go I forgot my name, I'm a dirt torpedo High speed dirt, high speed dirt High speed dirt, high speed dirt High speed dirt, high speed dirt High speed dirt, high speed dirt

This shit is important, so don't fuck it up... Medium layer of organic creamy on both slices. Thick layer of super-chunky on one slice. Minimal amount of sugar-free jam or jelly applied to other slice. Put slices together and cut down middle for even sized halves. Enjoy.

There are 2 Iowa state records... http://www.uspa.org/tabid/452/Default.aspx?ST=ia Give the women snaps for having fun and submitting the jump for a record. Couch Freaks? 26 jumps may not seem like a lot for a one day record, but considering where and when Evan did it, he earned it. Not really sure why anyone would get bent out of shape over these state records. They provide a way to recognize various achievements within a smaller region and in some cases, inspire more efforts to break such records. Some of the state records may be more serious and may even be close to -- or the actual -- national record. Some may just be a fun 5-way that resulted in a good picture and a great memory.

Precision Aerodynamics also offers soft links with steel rings... http://www.precision.aero/OrderForms/wrap-it.pdf I have the Precision soft links on my Xaos and PD soft links on my Velo. I don't really have a preference, but wonder if there are any wear or reliability issues of 1 vs the other?
