Hah, I had that design printed out a few years ago because I wanted to get it because of the whole being straight edge and the irony of the mushroom as well as because Super Mario Bros was amazing. But when I took it to the place to get it done the really pretentious girl working the desk was like "oh I have that too! And so does my friend!", turns out almost every second person does. Kind of put me off, what can I say, I`m just a rebel that way. Oh that is pretty off putting...but also pretty expected (I didn't think it was an original idea) partially why I am getting it in a place that won't be easily noticed. Also (maybe)related, this past weekend I attempted to make 1-up mushroom cupcakes - it was one of my friends' birthdays who is sXe (along with 99% of the group that was celebrating his birthday) and I thought it would ALSO be humorous. HOWEVER, he is also vegan and my homemade icing didn't thicken properly so they just ended up looking like moldy, green, gooey globs. BUT TASTED DELICIOUS! 1up for sure! some sort of crazy liquor cheeseburger party

I think I do much better in person. I've only had 1 phone interview, and didn't get it. It was unfortunately for job I really really wanted and I think because it was over the phone, I tried to rely my excitement and knowledge for the job TOO much and may have come off as OVER EAGER. Havne't gotten a skydiving one yet, but will once I have a license...I have a few ideas, little wings behind my outside ankle bones (I have tats on my lower calves/ankles so I can't go too big to mess with what is already there) Also I was thinking of getting the word "Pull" written on my ribs under my armpit like where a bra-band lays... I sing songs in my head on the way to altitude and was mainly using "Sweet Desposition" (by Temper Trap) just because it is a really calming song that reminded me of good times with my friends. This past weekend I changed that to "We Party" by Andrew WK and it kept me more relaxed than ever. That's really tough - going through situations like this everyone wants the help and support of their best friend, but because you act as such for both parties involved, I can see how that is terribly awkward for you... If possible I'd say make it clear to them that as their best friend you wish that you can be an outlet for them, but that it comprimises your relationship with the other person as well and you don't wish that to be. If you are able to allow each to vent without it getting to you and without offering any advice, then that would be best. But make clear that as soon as they start trying to skew YOUR view of the other person, that you will have to tell them to stop. My parents went through a really nasty divorce, but years later they were able to come together to be friends. I would suggest not "choosing" a side, but either making it clear to both that you are in a very awkward position that you wish not to be in, or making it clear that you want NOTHING to do with their current problems (which will also lead to a strain in your friendships I am sure). some sort of crazy liquor cheeseburger party

Book IS great for sure. I have a friend who LOVED the movie, so I thought I'd give the book a read first. Read the book thought it was great and couldn't wait to watch the movie. Watched it and was disapointed, but only as in a connection to the book. CONGRATS! Who cares what other people say as long as you are having fun and being safe! Bouncing Souls + Bad Religion would/will be a great show for sure (despite off with their heads...) From time to time you see those good line ups and have to jump on them, and granted, not always opening bands suck, I just don't see why all 3 nights Bad Religion had the same openers. One of my friends came with me last night and he's not (or wasn't) a big BR fan (last night changed that) nor does he really like punk at all and he even thought that the openers seemed really out of place.
