i will interject as the donkey of reason (meaning i am not a rigger either and was very fortunate to make it thru puberty), take as much time as you need to do it right! releasing brakes and having the line pop off the toggle would not be money! i can name that tune in 4 notes.... --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

cameye or the lanc port in the the camera??? if the male plug on the cameye broke then it's an easy fix, if it's the female port on the camera then that's a different matter... --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

i got my kurupee in january/february and the stitching is already starting to come out...a buddy's kurupee is doing the exact same thing, and he got it at the end of february....but you can't beat the price --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

that is a shame....one of the hot chiquitas i jump with is deaf and she has a pro-track just to log her jumps, this type of product would kick ass for her, allowing her to get the full use of the pro-track.... --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

i know that Freakous' pc101 lanc port is all jacko'd...we came to the conclusion that it was the way he had the cameye in the helmet (ie not cutting out the dbox to accomodate it, rather having it wedged in between the camera and dbox) that made the port loose....he can still get the cameye to work but the plug must be pushed into a certain position when it's in the port....don't know if this is the same thing you are experiencing.... my cameye quit working a couple weeks ago (in a pc101 also), i simply replaced the plug with one from radioshack, some soldering and presto, a working cameye again... --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

just a quick heads up, jumptrack is not an audible, it is the program that allows you to download the data from a protrack to your computer... if you want the data from your jumps go with the protrack, if you just want an audible go with prodytter...l&b has outstanding customer service and solid products... --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

What's with backtracking away from formations??

yes, you can keep canopies from opening below you by increased separation, but exiting in the proper order aids in this too with respect to drift distances of bellyflyers vs freeflyers, thus the reasoning behind putting bellyflyers out first.... edit: that is why i believe it is incorrect that order has nothing to do with it! --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience! -
a couple weeks back, clouds rolled in where i was jumping to a base of 2300 ft...they took a cessna up to do hop and pops but only if you had a D license....i am comfortable doing hop and pops from that altitude but can't b/c i only have a C license... instances like this would be a reason to hurry up and get a D before they change the requirements, imo...i am not worried about it as i will have my D well before September.... just my $0.02 - can i get change please??!!! --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

the fit that was improper was the inseam was too long...a simple tuck and some quick stitching fixed it just fine....in fact, i would have actually preferred it slightly baggier in the lower arms and lower legs portion, as i am a big boy out the door....that being said, the suit still gets the job done! --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

not saying be dishonest, just don't offer anything more than you need...tsa is night and day better now, but they are still not the sharpest tools in the shed....you throw something their way that they don't encounter everyday (ie sport parachute rig) and they go into brain lock....i flew this past weekend with my rig, said nothing to nobody about anything, and my rig passed through security without raising an eyebrow....it's not dishonest or shady, just don't offer anything that isn't directly asked for, it's just easier that way....btw, i told secuirty about having my rig on the way to florida last week and was stuck in security for about 10 minutes or so, no big deal, but it all went much smoother by keeping my pie-hole shut!!! my $0.03 --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

i just got my kurupee suit, and it looks money, however the fit is suspect....i am taking to my rigger later this week for alterations, hopefully he can get it right b/c mailing back to paraguay is not a desirable option, not to mention the kurupee folks weren't all that receptive or compassionate about the suit fit when i let them know....in the end, the old adage holds true, you get what you pay for.... my $0.02 --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

we took a midget on a tandem at Skydive Virginia a few years back....they put the shortest skydiver (aka midget) with the biggest tandem instructor....the video is extremely entertaining!!! --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

step 2: jump it donkey! i have a cookie box for my pc101 - like already said it fits like a glove....my only suggestion is to add another strap to secure the box closed....the bungy type strap alone is not sufficient (imo)...it's an easy add-on.... would post pics of mine but don't have one --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!
