Cookie's dbox kicks ass! only mod i made to mine was to add and extra strap, but that was cake....fits the camera like a glove! something else to consider, that if you are exiting at 1600 ft in an emergency, you are most likely going to be making a sub-terminal opening....chances are that even if your main were to snivel, you would not have a vertical fall rate fast enough to activate a cypress.....i would go out on my main....i would never jump without a cypress (canuck, don't want to get off topic b/c of wording)..... just my $0.02 djb the monkey

i don't have one yet, but i am pretty sure special is only the design on the fabric, and not the fabric itself....if you look at the form, there is a place later on to select heavier or normal cotton.... but don't quote me on that, after all i am a primate..... my suggestion is shoot them an email, they answered my questions in within 24hrs --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

i am a slow learner....a couple weekends ago i learned that a premature deployment in a sit that results in a horseshoe is very bad......make sure those closing loops are nice and tight! this one won't take me long to learn! scared monkey

scuba gloves do work well, however along with that thickness is a lack of "feeling", i'm not comfortable if i can't feel the hackey.....with the plastic med gloves as liners, i can wear just a pair of easton batting gloves over them and my hands are not cold.... --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

try getting medical gloves, and wear them under whatever gloves you usually wear....do not get the stretchy latex gloves, the gloves you want are heavier plastic....wear these under regular gloves and they keep the air off your hands and you stay much warmer, along with the fact that you are not having to bundle up what is on your hands so you are not losing dexterity of hands.... $0.02 from a monkey --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

Bonehead makes a one-size-fits-none dbox for pc cameras now. as opposed to 'clam shell' design of past, the camera is dropped in from the top on the new design. The box looks bigger and bulkier, and is rather unappealling seeing as i bought the camera for it's size. Any suggestions? X-Jacket? btw, a camera condom wouldn't work as i am extremely clumsy and dumb and bang my head around a lot! thanks, The Monkey
