Hi -P, welcome back to the sky !! . . .so you just might be jumping at the WFFC after all.

billvon & indyz : thank you both for the information. I was just curious what others had to say about that situation. . . in my case I had a flotation device and skillfully landed near the boat. I *could* use some swimming lessons though.

What if you can't swim but still want to get your license?

Get your ass back in the air !! You'll be a little apprehensive at first but after you - successfully - land you'll remember why you're in this sport in the first place. P.S. - once you're out of the plane you're committed anyway so enjoy the dive

What aren't all new rigs made "freefly" friendly?
smooth replied to matttrudeau's topic in Safety and Training
Rear of Legstrap -
I don't have much experience in this area but may I suggest : - simply not zipping the windows & door of the tent ALL the way up. - east end of the runway - the Porter or Otter (sometimes I miss the old Twin Beech., if served us well ) - the corn is usually over 7 ft. tall later in the year, makes a nice fence albeit not soundproof. - make arrangements for one of the camper/motorhomes. They're not always occupied by the owners.

In regards to the freefly friendly question . . . ROL is still offered as an option on many rigs. Of course, this may go the way of belly-bands in the very near future. -

Hi Val - why do you want swoop cords . . . going low a lot? . . . did you use them on your previous suit? Anyway, you could use elastic bungie cord tied to your belt as a quick, easy alternative. PS - I love your . . . Hot Bod . . . J. Lo ass too !!
