    So I am sitting here in my office bored to tears! I called my dz to see about having my reserve repacked and I find out that they had a great turn-out today and are about to do a sunset load to the beach! I haven't jumped the beach in months!     A year ago today I was still homeless from hurricane Ivan, so at that time the main thing that I hoped for was to be moved back into my apartment. Well, things didn't quite work out that way but now I am in a different apartment that I love. I also have since then started a new job that hopefully has more possibilities then my old one.     Ditto that Bob! I had so much fun this weekend! A plane that big that gets to altitude so fast, getting to meet so many new great people, getting that sunset beach jump and the "lovely" walk to the Bama, A very exciting night out Saturday night and more great jumps on Sunday!     We loved having all of you guys and would love to have you come back and visit! It was great to get to meet all of you and I wanted to thank you guys especialy Mel for being so sweet and and trying to jump with me! You guys are awesome. I had a great time hanging out with and getting to know you. Oh and enjoy Lynn Haven! I know I'll be down there some over the holidays!     My Mom has been great about me jumping! She has always been very supportive even though I'm sure at times it has made her a little nervous. She always tells me that she doesn't want me to ever have any regrets and therefore she has even almost encouraged my jumping. I have a very supportive family! My Dad is a little different he is extremely supportive but he doesn't like to watch me jump. I guess that just makes him too nervous. My Mom though loves to be out at the dz. She loves the people and everything about it. I think she sees how much it all means to me. She is the coolest, they both are! I love my parents! As far as buying jumps, My parents have both financialy supported my jumping at times. So yes they have even bought me jumps! "Life is either a great adventure or nothing." - Helen Keller

    Hey guys! My Mom is very proud that I jump. I was wondering if anyone knows of any t-shirts for the Moms of jumpers? I have already given her t-shirts from my dz, now I'm just looking for something a little different. Thanks for any help! I'm also looking for a gold closing pin charm for a necklace for her.     Oh, that's right, girls might break a nail, or get dirty, or worse, break a SWEAT if they pack Jen PS I'm a packer. Hey Jen! I'm with you on this one as a packer at my DZ I probably pack twice as many rigs as my fellow guy jumpers! Why do guys think that we can't or won't pack?     Grips, I think that (as some have already said) it is different for every person. If, God forbid, I go in on a jump I would like to hope that they get back in the air and jump. But if I am ever at the dz, once again God forbid, when someone goes in I don't think that I could get right back in the air. I am a very emotional person and it would take me some time to work it through and get back in the air. So, what I am saying I would want people to do and what I am saying I would do are two different things. I guess that I'm just not tough enough to do what I would want people to do for me!
