I did my aff in this dropzone. The dropzone has a very friendly atmosphere. I had a lot of fun doing my aff there. My instructors where very professional and helped me a lot to relax on the way up. The weather in this region is very good and the view when you jump out of the plane is amazing , sparkling blue sea and a huge yellow beach !

Completely unpredictable fear response
Jonathan-rasch replied to leonard's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
on my first solo jump i actually was quite calm in the plane. when we reached 3400 meters and the door was about to open i started getting very nervous. i just stoped thinking about my nerviosity and it worked. once i got out of the plane i had one of the best times of my life -
i changed my decission about not getting involved XD i can see where both sides of the argument are comming from.but i think the best way to solve the problem would be to temprarily ban the jumper from all dropzones (like block his license or somthing) , is this posible ? like that he would be punished without anybody risking a fight or the dropzone risking its equipment getting damaged. i dont know much about vandalism laws and stuff since i am only 16, but couldnt the jumper whos reserve got pulled sue the person who pulled the reserve? so what i am saying is: can u bann somebody from all dropzones worldwide ( or at least in one country)?

i dont wana get involved in the argument...but just out of curiosity...how much does it cost to repack a reserve, and how long does it take ?

Windtunnel training for beginner
Jonathan-rasch replied to Jonathan-rasch's topic in Safety and Training
hi i just finished my aff recently,i dont even have my A license yet so i am newbie in skydiving. i found out that there is a windtunnel near to where i go in my summer holidays (germany , bottrop ). i heard many people talk about how great windtunnels are for training. i was thinking that i maby could improve my technique a lot. the price for flying 10 minutes in a windtunnel with an instructor is quite high so i wanted to ask if it is worth it ? it costs 170 for 10 minutes, it is a lot less than i would have to pay to get the same amount of time when i would jump normaly, but in a wind tunnel i dont think that i would get this amazing adrenaline rush which is one of the reasons why i do skydiving.so basicly what i am asking is: is it worth it for a beginner like me to go training in a windtunnel ? i am looking forward to ur responses ! thx ! -
hi i just finished my aff. it was one of the gratest experiences in my life and i am sure that i will continue this sport.i want to buy my own gear as soon as posible.i just dont know which gear would be good for me.i want a gear which is good for inexperienced skydivers but is still good once i gained more experience. the main criteria should be that it is very reliable. i also wanted to ask what kind of altimeter is the best...analog or digital ? please help me (sry for my bad english...english isnt my first language)
