We've established no such thing. Just because you keep saying it, that doesn't make it so. Judges that are appointed for life will be paid whether they rule for the state or against it, so their paycheck is not based on performance for the state, hence there is no conflict of interest. Judges that are elected are paid for their term regardless of rulings. They are responsible to the voters for continued employment, not the state. Judges have no ability to affect their pay, and their pay is not related to how they rule. Viola! No conflict of interest. Are you freaking serious? Actually, this year, it's the 18th of april. If you choose not to file, the IRS will file for you. If you fail to pay, or refuse to, then they will start garnishing your wages and such. Have you examined the return and any accompanying schedules, and are they true correct and complete to the best of your knowledge? If yes, sign and send it in. If not, then read it; if it's accurate sign and send it in. If it's not, fix it, sign it, and send it in. Any questions?
