Howzit Kev, I would really love to be there, but logistically it's not going to happen. We at Pietermaritzburg Parachute Club (Piers' last home DZ while in SA) will definately be there in spirit and will join you with some wors on the braai at sunset. Friends of Piers, There will be a Memorial Service held this Saturday Venue : Firgrove Chapel, Assagay, KZN, South Africa (Directions - pawlvd@skydivekzn.co.za) Date : Saturday 06 August 2005 Time : 3:00 pm Dress : Appropriate There will be light snacks and limited drinks afterwards at the Morgan's home (across the road) Due to the short notice, I ask for your assistance in spreading this invitation to any and all that may not be on this mailing list. 1.I also do the salt thing. 2.I look in the refridgerator even when I'm not hungry and know exactly what is in there, because I looked 5 minutes ago ! 3.No cereal allowed over weekends. 4. I always open the back door in the mornings and look out at the sunrise / weather. 5.(This one is really weird) I flip thru the TV channels "Africa is not for sissies" -

Yep it's true...especially popular with the Afrikaans speaking sector ! Klippies and coke. (Klippies = Klipdrift, which is a popular brand of brandewyn ) Ja bru, gooi nog 'n dop....met yse "Africa is not for sissies"

Smoked for 27 years. I tried everything and could not quit... so I quit quitting. Then my father was diagnosed with Emphasima (sp?) and my Mom gave me a pack of Zyban but I still had to make that personal decision to stop. After that it was easy with the help of Zyban It's going on 16 months with out so much as a puff. And I can't believe the difference in quality of life between when I smoked and now. I feel like a teenager again

It's definitely been a strong tradition at our dz (south africa) and it used to be that the whole load went naked...but we have got lenient over the years and only if you want to support the 100 jumper do you go naked now.... bring back the old tradition
