You might consider FRP (fire resistant panel). It has a pebble like finish, 1/8' thick and is readily available. Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, Shouting "...holy shit...what a ride!"

Came here in 2000 and have never left.

I switched to a semi stowless bag (Wings) with a sabre 2 and I did notice a slight lessening of the off heading openings. Soft openings and no line twists became the norm though, Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, Shouting "...holy shit...what a ride!"

Weight belts worn on commercial airlines

Been through Philly, Lax and Phoenix many times with no hassle. I wear it to the search and place it in its own tray. Only had to open it once to show the lead shot. After inspection, I put it in my carry on. Can't make it to his ash dive but I will always remember the good times I shared with Bill. Semper Fi Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, Shouting "...holy shit...what a ride!"

I would clean the inside of the visor then dab a small amount of shaving cream and polish it in with a SOFT cloth. Also try to tighten the helmet so as to place your mouth as close to the vent as possible and exhale through your mouth. I've been trying to contact Skysystems regarding a reline for the past week by e mails and phone calls to no avail. Does anyone have any actual news as to WTF is going on?? I agree with your reply to the original post, BUT not with your statement that with a malfunction at 3500', "that there is plenty of time". There isn't. Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, Shouting "...holy shit...what a ride!"

Why don't you try a ProTec helmet. Reasonably priced and great protection. Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, Shouting "...holy shit...what a ride!"

The elastic cord stows that came with my bag were a bitch to use. After the first attempt, changed them out to large rubber bands. I have over 150 jumps on mine and I will not be using a regular D bag again. Quick, soft openings and I have yet to experience a line twist.
