  1. Hopefully nobody outside of the wingsuit community is looking in on this because this argument is kind of embarrassing. Do you think prominent coaches in other disciplines would get all pissy because their name was listed on a website that had ties to a suit manufacturer other then their own? Or do you think that they would just be happy to promote their chosen discipline? This seems to be a problem very unique to the wingsuit community. So much inner strife for no logical reason. PS I didn't even notice the footer until you pointed it out and I doubt most people did as well. I like fuzzy bunnys!!!
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcb2L5GkNRM&feature=player_embedded The X-bird you are referring to looks a lot like a V3 and then a V2, unless there were more then these two. I like fuzzy bunnys!!!
  3. Let's explain this in a way that even non-believers can understand. Thermals can get stronger then 10 m/s+ which is equal to about 22mph. Say he flared his suit out to 15mph (easily doable coming out of a slight dive on the bigger suits.) Do the math and you can see how climbs (with the aid of big thermals) are entirely possible, as the video demonstrates. I like fuzzy bunnys!!!
  4. 2:58 - 3:02 is definitely flying up. GPS data can be off, but that's some rock solid visual evidence. Denying that makes it seem like you can't get past the suit it was done in I like fuzzy bunnys!!!
  5. ...I hope Phoenix-fly come up with winged-suit that have zippers that don't fail on every jump I think...
