Ive been on 3 tandem jumps in the last year...I got a deal on a tandem/jump school combo and just did my tandem. They called and confirmed that on the jan 28th i can attend ground school. Ive been okay with it until now and now i feel terrified. How can i get over this fear or elevate it some. Im scared ill be to terrified to do the solo jump. Anyone got any ideas or comments on how you got over the fear?? Thanks!

Im just a beginner fixing to go to AFF school. Im just browsing online to get a good idea of how much money i need to save up to buy some gear. My question is there are alot of different types/sizes of parachutes out there and i want to know which would be right for me? Im about 5'2 and muscular 200lbs.

I did my first tandum on 5-11-11. It was amazing. Gonna go back and get my license as soon as i know when i can. I didnt see many other people there that day. Only saw the two (maybe 3) instructors, and the group i was with, and another couple that jumped tandum. Hopefully, i can catch up with some other skydivers soon! Eager to learn everything about the sport!

More than likely i will be doing it in cullman. I really enjoyed my tandum jump there, and the people were really nice.

Im going to go to ground school sometime soon and get my license and was wondering if there was any skydivers in northern alabama ?

Well i finally did it. I went skydiving for the first time yesterday! And it was amazing!! I am determined to go to ground school and learn to go solo. I am hooked already and ive only been once! haha. I went to youtube and watched a bunch of videos of others skydiving, but made the mistake of clicking on one of the 'skydiving gone wrong' videos and think i scared myself. Decided to come here and read and learn about everyone elses experiences to help me out. I look forward to hearing from everyone else.
