  1. Hi All Just to let you know that there will be a Boogie held in Botswana from the 16th to 19th July 2016 (The Makgadikgadi Epic). The Boogie is in its 3rd year and is held over the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans and sponsored by the Botswana Tourism Department. It is a fantastic 4 days with jumps from a PAC750, Atlas Angel, Helicopters and a CASA or C130 being on the cards to still be confirmed. The Botswana Defence Force provide the aircraft for the Boogie. Boogie registration costs still to be confirmed 2015 costs were P400 (£35) registration fee which included a goodie bag and T-Shirt. Jump slots were P1500 +-(£100) for 10 slots from various aircraft including the CASA . As soon as I get the costs for this years event I will post should be very similar though. For those who don't know the Makgadikgadi salt pans were on Top Gear they are the worlds largest salt pan. Botswana has been voted as the Best Country to visit in 2016 in the world by Trip Advisor and a number of other publications. Botswana is also home to the Okavango Delta and in my opinion the best wildlife parks in the world. The country is incredibly safe to travel in and relatively cheap with the Pula being 15-16 to the £. It would be great to see some US or other international skydivers attend and then visit the best wildlife viewing areas in the world. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will try and answer them.
  2. Went to Headcorn as its my local DZ and been going to Spain to jump the last couple of months. I did not expect the welcome I got there it was great I got four jumps in on Saturday and could have done more and that was with a lot of cloudcover delaying jumps. Thanks to Chris for the DZ brief, julie for sorting my admin and Dell for packing for me. I will def be jumping at Headcorn again very friendly jumpers. Blue Skies
