    I'm not saying a mistake is impossible, but using good judgement has always been a skill of mine. You can not take that one incendent and use if against people that carry guns. That's like saying all skydivers are just like DB Cooper...

    It's open carry for rifles, not handguns unless they remain in your home, ( you vehicle is an extension of your home there ) But for me, I'd rather be able to carry it on me, so if I'm ever walking down the beach or wherever, I have the ability to defend myself. Yea, you can be unrealistic and say just fight the guy, but if he has a gun, I'd rather have an advantage of surprise. And I SHOOT BACK!

    Well do you wear the 9.11 tactical gear? They have a clothing line that specifies in concealed carry and the shirts are not that bad either.

    The definition of concealed is the weapon is partially or completely covered, I.E if I were to holster it in the open, it would still be considered concealed in my state. But mind will be completely hidden. I would rather have a fighting chance if I were to get robbed and with my training, I know how to react to certain situations. It's for my day to day life.

    Some Afghan kids thought it would be funny to setup a hoax IED, end result... we miss chow and have to sit on the site for 6 hours waiting for eod.... WTF the whole time these little bastards were looking at us and laughing. Kids these days...

    Ha that reminded me of a picture I saw on facebook, 4 soldiers sitting down looking all sad and shit, the captions said "We were going to eat chow but we couldn't find our reflective belt" Best shit ever!

    Have you ever been to the middle east? I doubt it cause if you have, you would know that the amount of good people far outweigh the bad ones. Most of our intel comes from the locals that only want the best for their country and the world. Yea the place sucks, but we are here and there is nothing we can do about that so we might as well help them out so we don't make any more enemies.

    Exactly, after many jams and stovepipes... From a CLEAN and lubed gun.. haha I said lube... Anyways The M9 is not the best gun in the world and after being in afghanistan and seeing all the cool weapons that the foreign military personal gets issued, I'm just plain jealous..

    Yea the M9 has been battle proven, but as a concealed weapon, not so great. I have experience with the springfield 1911 but not enough to say that's the one I want. I just like to know what other people like so I can try it out and see for myself. Experience and knowledge is a great asset when shared with others.

    As a soldier currently in Afghanistan, I have to say that we are constantly warned about shooting back that it makes us think twice before discharging a round down range. In some cases this is good, Adding to that, in the event that we do kill somebody, there is a certain amount of paperwork that goes into it and we get questioned to a point that we go crazy. Does Obama have anything to do with the amount of deaths? I don't believe so. But the new ROE has been implemented since his adminstration has taken office...

    Great advise, I have many years of experience with handling weapons, I grew up with a father that was in the army for years, so as a child, I knew gun safety. I have never had an ND but have also heard of the clothes catching the trigger so I'm not saying I will never have one I Will look into that as well and thanks for your input!
