  1. It's terrifying that there are licensed skydivers who can't tell right off the bat this is a joke. The feather butts bounce off ya like raindrops hitting a battle-star when they come in too fast...kinda funny to watch. - airtwardo

  3. 70th jump or so. 12 way tracking. During break off we were really tight up front so we didn't fan out as much as I would have liked. I check above me before I pull and notice someone directly above me about 500 ft or so. I suck it a bit low so I can track farther away and pull and say a quick prayer. As soon as I'm under canopy I see this guy snivel right between me and the person next to me on break away. He was maybe 100ft or so from me and the other guy. So apparently his goggles were loose, he couldn't see very well and lost track of us. He also apparently continued to track and pulled lower than he should have, given that he couldn't see and sniveled past me even though I opened lower. He was a visiting jumper and had the lowest number of the group. Lesson learned: Don't jump with anyone I don't know or feel is skilled enough in a bigger tracking jump. And do mad crazy barrel rolls to check above me The feather butts bounce off ya like raindrops hitting a battle-star when they come in too fast...kinda funny to watch. - airtwardo

  9. That's assuming the tweeting of the address was related to "collecting" on this bounty. I would buy that argument if the tweet was specifically directed to the the "organization" offering the bounty. So he was just posting the address in case anybody wishing to send flowers and support to him couldn't find it? 11. Just say you're sorry. When a girl fucks up it's much easier for the guy to forgive, other way around, not so much. The feather butts bounce off ya like raindrops hitting a battle-star when they come in too fast...kinda funny to watch. - airtwardo
  12. Wouldn't solve anything. Car insurance doesn't cover gross negligence. If health insurance would go the same route: No coverage for those overweight or obese. No coverage if you drink more than maybe one drink average per day. No coverage if you do not exercise on a relatively frequent basis. No coverage if you live or work in high risk areas. Smoke? Sorry, no coverage Forcing a high deductable on people. That doesn't solve anything either, since many people would not be able to cover the costs under the deductable limit. So people would have to be responsible for their life choices? Or else pay much higher deductibles, I don't see a problem there. 13. I understand "health" but we're talking about "healthCARE". Again, our life expectancy has to do with our sloth, modern comforts and over indulgence. Nothing to do with healthCARE. If we were all so broke that all we could afford was 1000 calories a day with basic vegetables and a small serving of meat our life spans would be much higher, there's no debate there. But to equate life expectancy with healthcare is wrong. I don't see where being "proud" of our life expectancy was ever a topic. 14. That's some straight up bs that has nothing to do with healthcare. That has to do with unhealthy eating and exercise habits. Don't confuse that with poor medical attention. Also I don't see too many 3rd world countries ahead of us http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy The feather butts bounce off ya like raindrops hitting a battle-star when they come in too fast...kinda funny to watch. - airtwardo

  17. Because it, or some thing like it we can afford, is needed. The Senate should just trim out the fat and it would be good to go. 19. Greece is in the situation it's in now BECAUSE of an ever growing government that could not sustain itself. The government was its own terrorist, the opposite of these "sovereign" citizens. To blindly follow Uncle Sam's word and continually think that throwing more money at government will fix it makes you and people that think like you a bigger terrorist threat to the very fabric of American society. What's even more terrifying is that you think people who have the nerve to question those in charge makes them terrorists. You've got it back asswards. Good sheep. 20. Indeed. Liberals and conservatives are both equally interested in removing personal freedoms. they just disagree on which freedoms they wish to remove. Working together, liberals and conservatives do a fine job of working our way towards fewer and fewer freedoms. 21. Yeah, I've dropped about 30 pounds. I was 235 before I took a vacation down to FL where my friend said we'd do a tandem and their max weight limit was 220, so I dropped 15 pounds in about a month. Then after I did my tandem and realized I wanted to do AFF I kept dieting and working out. I'm down to 205 now and it seems to have leveled off. I could lose more but I don't want to diet anymore lol. The feather butts bounce off ya like raindrops hitting a battle-star when they come in too fast...kinda funny to watch. - airtwardo
  22. It's a group they help cofound and they continue to pour a lot of money into. I can see both sides of the argument, but ultimately I still think they'll be pushing for freer markets regardless of leadership. I'm guessing the social aspects such as legalizing drugs will take a back seat. CATO has been pretty "radical" compared to the rest of the big DC think tanks, perhaps they're trying to steer CATO to take a less radical approach to slowly attract more conservative/libertarians to work together. Again, the Kochs put their money where their mouths are and CATO will continue, it would be silly for them to try to impede something they've poured millions into.
