I'd be ok getting out at 1,800 with a cut, BSRs notwithstanding. However, I wouldn't do it on a high speed pass unless I were planning on using my reserve. Lest we not forget, you'll be SLOWING DOWN to terminal at that point. cavete terrae.

All joking aside, if anyone knows anything about the injured jumpers, please PM me. A large percentage of the staff and regular jumpers at my DZ are currently there. cavete terrae.

There are ALWAYS repercussions for going into Iowa. cavete terrae.

Well.... I'm no rig manufacturer, but I can tell you with a fair amount of certainty that your height alone does not determine your harness length. I am 6'3", and TallGuy here on the forums at 6'9" only has a half inch longer MLW than I do, because I'm so long in the torso. I may be wrong, and likely am, but I felt like contributing. cavete terrae.

Happened to me once, actually. Not that extreme, but I woke up in Chicago instead of Denver. cavete terrae.

Possible alternative: Post the requirements of the weather station hardware, and I may be able to get a VERY good price on somethign that'll meet said requirements. Not a promise, and not even 50/50.. but possible. cavete terrae.

I jump an Infinity for a variety of reasons, in no particular order: Awesome riser covers Great pin protection (I can pick up the rig by the main flap, and that's with a 210sqft main and a 220sqft reserve in it) Great looking AMAZINGLY comfortable. I had a bad opening that bounced my chin off of my chest, tore lines from the canopy, and more, and no harm done. Not even a bruise. Well built Good price! cavete terrae.

As long as pilotdave approves it, I'll just upload it to skydivingmovies, I recorded it with the computer's TV tuner. cavete terrae.

Hey guys, just wondering if any of the Australian locals (especially someone in Melbourne or that knows the Melbourne crew well) could drop me a PM. I'll be moving back in a couple of months and would like to get in touch with people. Looking to ground crew and/or find a mentor, if possible. Furthermore, info on any FJCs in-country would be great. I did sign up for an account on the Aus BASE forums, just waiting for it to be processed, and suspecting there's more traffic here. Thanks guys. cavete terrae.

George rocks! I'm looking forward to my new Fusion 190 when that comes, I'm another Precision customer for life! cavete terrae. -
So is there a reason I wouldn't have been serious about that? cavete terrae.

Not often. In this case, yes. cavete terrae.

Easier said than done. You can't just walk up and be like "Hey, you single?", because then the jig is up! cavete terrae.

And...??? Failure. I did use a cute approach though! "Hay, I'm doing a survey. Can I ask you three true/false questions?" "Sure" "True or false: Most people like ice cream" "DEFINITELY true!" "True or false: Most people enjoy going out to see a movie" "Oooooh true" "True or false: You'll let me take you out to a movie and then ice cream" "True, if I didn't have a boyfriend" cavete terrae.

Some men like that. Well, maybe not the running away part... In all seriousness tnough, I did ask out a chick the other day! cavete terrae.

While the unconscious ones just dream about it It's ok, I always tip them for their services. cavete terrae.

Wow, I didn't realize that you were so kinky, grue. The conscious ones struggle and run away. cavete terrae.

I really am shy though. At least with women I'm attracted to. cavete terrae.

Emilio Estevez is crap More or less true. You never told me what you want in return for the tim tams, since I can't find that coffee? cavete terrae.

I prefer chloroform. cavete terrae.

It's true. cavete terrae.

Dude, leaving the "O" in Ownage is so last year. THat's a zero. Using a "P" as per current custom is more awkward to type cavete terrae.

I'm going to change my name to R0x0r Mc0wnage. cavete terrae.

Ok, and what qualifies as a "low opening"? I was having a discussion and I was pretty sure that a "low opening" for a freefall with the military is a lot higher than we consider a "low opening". cavete terrae.
