    I was referring to Obama. He didn't vote against the Patriot Act, so he obviously doesn't give a shit about civil liberties. His biggest idea as a candidate seems to be universal health care, which is extremely overrated and something I'm 100% against. cavete terrae.

    Yeah, it'll be awesome to piss away more civil liberties in the name of security, and piss away money on universal health care. Then once the government is wasting our money on the health care, they can implement more nanny laws to protect us from having any freedom, because they foot the bill for medical care. Medical care that, incidentally, gets compromised because given the choice between the more expensive but more efficient surgery that you'll recover from faster, they're going to take the cheaper option.     Honestly, I feel dumber after hanging out there… that's the main reason I've almost completely stopped posting in the bonfire. Between the left-of-the-bell-curve opinions and grammar that an ESL student would frown upon, I just can't handle it any more.     I can't speak for kallend, but if it were my job to do some work on balancing the budget? Stop playing WorldCop™ and invading countries we don't have any business invading. That'll save heaps of money right there. Shut down or severely reduce a lot of government agencies that are useless or are doing things they shouldn't be (Homeland Security, TSA, IRS, DEA, FCC etc), cut foreign aid, start demanding accountability with government contracts (no more $1,500 hammers), stop pork-barrel shit, etc. Stop the COLA for Congress et al. Stop the "war on drugs" bullshit. Oh, and stop giving religious groups tax exemptions. I'm not fan of taxes, but I see no reason religious groups shouldn't have to pay 'em if I do. I could go on, but I'm going to sleep. cavete terrae.

    Can't say I blame the kid. I tend to get pretty damned cranky when I'm trying to sleep and something is keeping me up, too. I'd like to think I wouldn't do anything quite that extreme, but hey… when you're tired, you're tired. cavete terrae.

    The camera is shit on the N95. High res, sure, but not particularly impressive. Furthermore, it's not all about the touch screen or the features. It's the UI, the usability, and the design that matter for a lot of people. cavete terrae.
