What if the deployment of the chute fails, then you still have the ball at terminal freefalling towards the ground. It sounds more reliant just leting the lead out. Just a thought When I stop skydiving is the day that I die!!! Hallur

I totally agree. If I stab in my brakes to recover from my dives, I was to low when i started the approach. When I stop skydiving is the day that I die!!! Hallur

I rarely hook, I like carvings the most since I feel they are more safer. I also get longer swoops. When I stop skydiving is the day that I die!!! Hallur

Ive landed my FX loaded 1.8 straight in and in little bit of brakes(you have to watch that stalling point) in a wind about 6 knots. I was cut off and needed to land in a very tight spot........ safe landings.....Hallur
