Oh I'll have some great video of us getting there lol. That and a shot of us sleeping next to the gate at 2am when we get there, unless you'd let us lucky ones in early -

Do you know prices yet and we're gonna be showing up at like Midnight/1-2am Tuesday night (technically Wednesday am). Any way we can get inside the gates to at least blow up our air matresses and sleep there then kick us out in the morning and wait till noon? Edit to add: It's just 2 of us, not our whole group. -

This thread is about couch freaks not anything else. You know where I jump, actually anyone can see it just by clicking on my screen name, I don't hide behind fake accounts like others in KS have been doing. As skydivers, we all sign waivers and jump at our own risk. I know my own limitations and accept the risks involved. I have a sealed letter that protects the skydiving community in the event of something were to happen to be opened in the event of my death. And further more, I know for a FACT that you have jumpers who jump at YOUR dz that weigh well beyound my exit weight naked... I'd be happy to post video of them exiting your plane if you'd like -

I'd be up for it, what size reserves do you have? I meet all the requirements though I weigh about 280 out the door. My current reserve is a 174 so I'd be fine with that or bigger if need be. Very current and experience jumper. 1 mal, 1 intentional and 2 cleared mals so I'm up for the experience again. -

Jimmy has been very popular lately. Almost every night I go out I meet some chick who wants to call him and ask for technical support. The range of issues they're having are: "Jimmy I'm wet and don't know what to do" "Jimmy what are you wearing" "Jimmy I want you" "Jimmy my speakers don't work, I sat on the subwoofer trying to get off and they broke" Though he keeps responding with "Let me talk to Chris..." I'm telling ya, he's the biggest thing to hit Manhattan, and they haven't even SEEN his hemi powered penis yet haha. -
Yep been on there for some time. There's a guy who came out with a program called pandoras box that'll run it from your system tray and not require an open ie/firefox window.

I don't want to go into personal details but she has had the pacemaker from an early age. And thank you both Jen and Joe. This is something that's in the works but still many many many months out if it ever happens. She's been active in other activities like the slingshot (reserved bungy jumping thing) and is very active with everything else. We'll see if it's an option or not down the road

Actually I'd much reather rely on the advice from both sources... You know how whuffos are, they don't understand all the principals behind skydiving. For example a fellow jumper became pregnant and asked her doctor if she was ok to continue jumping. He said probably not because the landings were too rough (assuming they were all like round) though freefall and opening wasn't a problem in the doctors opinion. So I'd just like to hear from a TM or those who have the experience first hand so we can make a better decission overall.

I have a friend of mine who has shown interest in skydiving but because of health issues hasn't. Her health issues require her to have a pacemaker and defribulator. Has anyone taken up a student with similar health issues? Can anyone offer any insights?

I used to have a list, it was actually more than a dozen. Ours is the oldest though and the only one that owns and operates our own DZ. We get no sponsorship from the university whatsoever to operate though we do get 100 per person (up to 10) to travel to collegiates I'll see if I can find the list again Found it (It's from 2002 so some of the information could be outdated) Alabama University of Alabama http://www.bama.ua.edu/~skydive/default.htm Mark@Kalupa.com California University of Southern California Caltech http://www.cco.caltech.edu/~mvanier/skydive.html mvanier@bbb.caltech.edu Colorado US Air Force Academy http://www.usafa.af.mil/wing/34og/98thpg.html Adam.Jones@usafa.af.mil Florida FIU Flying Panthers www.fiu.edu/~skydive skydivefiu@hotmail.com Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University* http://www.db.erau.edu/campus/student/clubs/freefall/ daniellemford@hotmail.com Florida State University* http://www.geocities.com/Pipeline/Curb/3670/cypres.html xkarmanax@yahoo.com UF Falling Gators http://www.afn.org/~fg/ mikereed@ufl.edu Georgia Georgia Tech http://cyberbuzz.gatech.edu/skydive/ gte289n@prism.gatech.edu Illinois University of Illinois Falling Illini http://www.uiuc.edu/ro/fallingillini/ prieto@students.uiuc.edu Southern Illinois University http://www.siu.edu/departments/rso/skyd/ tweb80@hotmail.com University of Chicago http://student-www.uchicago.edu/orgs/skydive/index.html Eastern Illinois University http://www.pen.eiu.edu/~cumls1/skycats.html Illinois Institute of Technology http://www.iit.edu/~skydive/ camejos@charlie.iit.edu Northern Illinois University http://www.sa.niu.edu/SKYDIVING/index.html NIUSKYDIVING@HOTMAIL.COM Indiana Ball State Flying Cardinals Purdue University http://expert.cc.purdue.edu/~skydive/ purdueskydiving@hotmail.com University of Indiana Falling Hoosiers http://php.indiana.edu/~skydive/ DePauw University http://acad2.depauw.edu/~demison/FlyingTigers.html demison@depauw.edu Iowa Iowa State University http://www.stuorg.iastate.edu/skydivers/ careyb@iastate.edu Kansas Kansas State University* http://www.ksu.edu/ksupc/ KSUPC@KSU.EDU Kentucky Western Kentucky University http://www2.wku.edu/~skydive chipstcharles@earthlink.net Murray State University Skydiving Club http://campus.murraystate.edu/skydive/ skydive@murraystate.edu Maryland Univerity of Maryland Flying Terpedos http://www.inform.umd.edu/StudentOrg/cpsc lgershen@wam.umd.edu UMBC http://www.gl.umbc.edu/~jcorns1/skydiving/skydiving.html United States Naval Academy http://www.geocities.com/usna_skydiving/ m047188@usna.edu Massachusettes Massachusettes Institute of Technology http://www.mit.edu:8001/activities/skydive/home.html drb@mit.edu University of Massachusettes http://skydive.umassp.edu/ reservations@jumptown.com Minnesota St. Cloud State University http://condor.stcloud.msus.edu/~skydive/ Mhubbard@Stcloudstate.edu New Jersey Princeton University SkyTigers http://www.princeton.edu/~dankorn/skydive/ dankorn@princeton.edu New York US Military Academy http://www.usma.edu/uscc/dca/clubs/jump/index.htm ym6833@exmail.usma.army.mil North Carolina Carolina Skydiving Club http://www.unc.edu/depts/armyrotc/skydive.htm marksc@email.unc.edu Ohio OSU Skydiving Club http://www.ohio-state.edu/students/skydiving born.23@osu.edu University of Cincinnati http://members.aol.com/ucskydive/ mcm114@hotmail.com Oregon University of Oregon Flying Ducks http://darkwing.uoregon.edu/~clbsprts/skydiving.html zeckey911@hotmail.com Pennsylvania LeHigh University University of Pennslyvania http://dolphin.upenn.edu/~freefall/ freefall@dolphin.upenn.edu Bucknell University http://www.students.bucknell.edu/bcarpent/ bcarpent@bucknell.edu South Carolina College of Charleston http://www.cofc.edu/~skydive/ slclappe@edisto.cofc.edu University of South Carolina* http://www.skydiveusc.com/ pres@skydiveusc.com Clemson University* http://people.clemson.edu/~dixsky/ abaier@clemson.edu Tennessee Vanderbilt Sport Parachute Club* http://www.vanderbilt.edu/skydive/ Steve.Caltagirone@Owen2002.vanderbilt.edu Texas Texas A&M University http://stuact.tamu.edu/stuorgs/skydive/ jumpout@tamu.edu University of Texas http://www.LonghornSkydivers.org Info@longhornskydivers.org Texas Tech Flying Raiders http://members.theglobe.com/skydiving/ Wisconsin University of Wisconsin-Madison http://www.sit.wisc.edu/~madskydive/ madskydive@stdorg.wisc.edu International Queens University (Northern Ireland) http://quis.qub.ac.uk/pchute/ mullinryan@hotmail.com

Last year wasn't registration up to or above 500 and weren't close to 400 of those the first night alone?!? It's an awesome time, it's THE midwest boogie. I've been to it every year since 2001 when I started jumping. It's the highlight of my summer. I start school back up the week before and then take off. So in other words I'm a good student for a week and a half, then it pretty much takes till spring break to recover then spring break does it in for me again haha. It's really a good time, anyone who has been will tell you the same. Look how many of us know to the second when couch freaks starts... My home dz even has a countdown on our main page! -
