  1. Oh I'm WELL aware of the raid problems. The short of the story is, the old IT guy was the owners son. I shouldn't need to say more lol Granted I'm not a genius nor am I an MIS major but I know my way around stuff. Partion magic won't work on the server because of the raid configuration so I'm not sure if this other one will. Thanks for the advice though. One thing I have found online is partdisk.exe which is integraded with windows and allows you to extend partitions. However I'm not adding a drive to the server, just want to move some of the space off one partition to the other. Has anyone ever used partdisk?
  2. I've been fighting an uphill battle for some time the last IT guy screwed and need help. Windows SBS 2003 R2 package 2 SCSI 15,000rpm drives in a raid 0 Partition is set up for C and D though the guy before me didn't leave enough room on the C partition to allow space for the server to grow (exchange, sql, active directory etc) So here's my problem... As of this afternoon they had 70mb of available space on the C partition... Is there any way I can move space from the D to the C to give it some more space to grow? I tried using partition magic but it doesn't work on a Raid config... Am I screwed?
  3. Yeah we couldn't find Carinas, had a poor map and honestly I was getting tired of bottoming out my car every time I had to turn around somewhere to try and find it. So finally I just did a search for Italian on my phone and we ended up at Mediterraneo. Had a bottle of wine, some grappa, really good food then walked around on Main st. Was a good time, just tired, not used to waking up at 6am to jump on the road and drive home somewhere lol. Thanks again all for the help
  4. Thanks a lot, that's where we're going to go
  5. Thank you for the advice. I live down in Naples and my friend in Tampa so we decided to meet for dinner, drinks and what ever else in Sarasota but neither of us know the area at all there so finding a place to meet and somewhere decent to eat is a problem lol.
  6. Thanks momma I'm sure she'd enjoy that, all romantic and stuff
  7. Need some help from any peeps in Sarasota. I'm meeting with a friend of mine there this evening and looking for a good place to eat and some things to do. Could anyone offer some recommendations? Neither one of us have been there before so we'd be completely lost, just a half way point for the two of us. Thanks mucho
  8. First of all I want to say thank you to everyone I met and jumped with last Sunday. After a lay off from skydiving for over 6 months I really wasn't too interested in jumping anymore. I came from a club DZ and had jumped there pretty much for the last 6 years. After moving to Florida I found it rather hard to get motivated again to jump without knowing people. I visited a few dz's in the area and just really didn't feel welcome and didn't feel the vibe at all. I finally got convinced to come out to Clewiston by a fellow DZ.commer and am glad I did. I really feel the DZ, jumpers, owners (Lisa and Rick) did an outstanding job at welcoming a new skydiver to their dropzone. All their jumpers, staff, students etc were friendly and treated me as one of them from the get go unlike some dz's that have their clicks and groups. After jumping I was invited to dinner with the staff and hung around the DZ while they closed up and enjoyed a cold one. All in all I'm very pleased to have finally found a new home DZ where I feel welcome and the staff is professional and facilities well kept. They have the Pac every other weekend and an Otter starting in Nov so def come and check them out! Thanks again everyone for bringing me back into the sport. Chris
  9. We were having a discussion today at work and a co worker asked me why we wore helmets but not any other type of pads. So given the nature of our sport and accidents that can happen, if there were some sort of pads or body armor available that wasn't bulky and got in the way would you wear it to help protect yourself in the event of the unknown? Why or why not?
  10. You guys all have fun, first year I'll be missing the boogie but I guess that's life and shit happens when you move away from the midwest huh.
  11. Damn man! Put a NSFW tag on that picture hahahah
  12. Ironically and oddly enough I can remember being breast fed... We only lived in Ohio for a short period of time and I could describe the room and house to my parents. I remember waking up and standing in my crib and having my mom come into the room and then us sitting in the rocking chair... I'm sure someday I'll pay a therapist a good sum of money for the nightmares, but that's my earliest memory and I remember a pretty good chunk of stuff from there to about my 21st bday. The rest is just a blurr
