  1. no seriously, everyone makes collapsible sliders.
  2. Looks like the slider is collapsed on one side.. ?
  3. Atmo and angle flying are the same thing. Steep tracking. in the twilight zone between head down and regular tracking. Its beautiful, so beautiful.
  4. this is what you do.... - 6 hours of tunnel time. get comfy on your head. - buy a small enough rig that you dont look like a boot - learn the lingo - sign up for a big way camp, they will automatically expect you know what you're doing. - make friends -you're in its really not that hard bro, suck it up and conform already I do know what you are talking about though, and all you really got to do is approach them and don't suck... unless the organizers are beginner friendly and like to mix it up.... they are not going to come to you. if they are doing technical jumps that you cant keep up on, you are just putting everyone in danger.
  5. I beleive its spanish for "the fighting chicken"
  6. Sadly, it doesn't often work like this. Some of my best openings on a Lightning (quick and on-heading) have been packed in under 10 minutes. Some of the worst were when I spend 30+ minutes to iron out all the creases before gently sliding it in. Bloody thing... if you spend 30+ minutes packing...you SHOULD get smacked! sorta newbie here ^_^. I used to take 45+ minutes to pack when I first started learning it (could have something to do with the fact that it was a brand-spanking new rental spectre 210, more slippery than an eel). Nowadays, I usually take 15-20 minutes depending on the canopy (I'm actually better at free-packing a tailpocket lightning than pro-packing my Silhouette) and the weather. If there's a hole in the clouds approaching, I manage to pack it
  7. i have been jumping with a type 3 sprain for a week. its healing and landings are a little sketchy, but i slide in putting most of the pressure on my good foot and its fine. i even landed out in a plowed field and didn't injure it. i AM wearing a brace though. if your will power is anything like mine.... you will jump. anti inflammatory and a brace will do the trick
  8. A legitmate response would be more useful. Also I dont see why his jumps numbers matter at all.......Responses like this are why almost every post gets off topic and turns into a non productive bitch session. My cats breath smells like cat food How many jumps does he have? (This thread is now about skydiving cats)
  9. werd! we put our feet in one anothers lines and then get wrapped up into the canopy and helplessly plummet to the earth in a messy ball of nylon!!!!! if that doesn't cure your claustrophobia then nothing will!
  10. If you are scared of the blades sucking you up and killing you... There is only one way to overcome your fear. You must be sucked up by them, but survive. You will then be ready to fly, young grasshopper. *make sure you wear a gopro and have one mounted on the glass
  11. Its 10 sqft.... 10 sqft....good for you OP, i have no problem at all getting my saf 149 in there. Definitely not putting any stress on flaps or grommets, Which would be the main problem. The dbag is the only tight part and once you get the hang of it its fine. Stick it to the man! ANARCHY!! Haha
  12. I have an ojk. Same size main tray as yours, up to 139. And i have a safire 2 149 in it. Its a tight fit in the bag, but definitely not too tight for the tray. It fits in there fine. I would say you could probably even throw a 170 in there.
  13. they do it for a reason, its math and science. dont worry about it
  14. 1.grab 2 chairs. 2.put your feet on one and your chest on the other. 3.have a friend sit on your lower back for 6-8 hours 4.ice 5.repeat
  15. WTF are you doing swooping if you don't know the answer to this question? WTF are you doing on the internet if you cannot read a simple question without reading things into it that may not have been on purpose? I say ploughing turn . Or an excavating turn haha
  16. you have to factor in the 12.5 year paper weight aspect of owning a cypres..
  17. I would just go with what you like. If you have the money.. It doesn't matter. I have learned my lesson with that, in the past i have bought things because of military discount, even though its not exactly what i want and i end up selling it to buy what i really wanted in the first place.
  18. Anybody seen one of these? http://www.airgraffix.com/ If i ever decide to do something cool with my G3, it will be this
  19. Man, wait till PD sees this thing. If anyone is getting a peregrine, its gonna be the guy with the mirror visor! You should leave it down and never let anyone see you without your helmet on.. You will be known as the guy with the mirror visor that flies a peregrine. Yeah
  20. You can jump a gopro in conjuction with a mirror visor at 50, due to the overwhelming cool factor. It outweighs the risk!
