  1. Okay, so for all you people who like me live in places that don't have the luxury of jumping all year round. I didn't start jumping, and of course fell madly in love with it, until August. So here I am just a handful of jumps away from my A-license and already going crazy about the fact that I have until April until the season starts up again. I'm going to try my hardest to go out to Cali in February to finish up my license at Elsinore where a couple friends work, but still that's a loooong way away. So how do you guys do it? How do you handle all these months of being stuck on the ground without losing your mind?
  2. Well I'm just a newbie at the end of my AFF's, but a couple of the questions that I've gotten... "So the instructors are talking to you during freefall telling you what to do, right?" "What do you mean they let go of you and don't stay with you after you pull the chute, is that safe?" funny stuff, the way my friends/coworkers act about my new hobby
  3. Just wanted to introduce myself to the site. I've done three jumps now, all AFF, never done a tandem. Had to repeat my level 2 because I got all stressed out my first go-round, but rocked it the 2nd time. Since then I've spent countless days on picnic benches over the past two weeks as the winds have been too strong for student jumps, and it's killing me! Anyone else having this problem? Welp, just wanted to say hi and that I'm so happy to be a part of this incredible community!
