Hmm do your mobile phones work on a different system? Here in Australia you aren't charged for receiving calls the person making the call is... And your calls are charged on a per minute rate varying at different times.. I've never gotten those telemarketer people ring my mobile and for a while here i think there were large campaignes of sms message advertisments but then i think that was banned No annoying bastards bugging me

This is very true...apparently hearing is THE first of your sences to leave you in a moment of high stress or adrenaline rush. If you do not train someone to function without a radio there going to turn out all the worse skydiver because of it in my opinion. -
hmm i don't get much of the above although i just got back from work.....but i was always told by my (granted rather doppy) science teacher that a brick and a feather droped from the same height would eventually fall at the same speed? This never made sence to me though with wind resistance and all that.....hmmmmm

Have the article for an old skydiving mag somewere round here...its mad as!! The bottom of it was something like over 1km square or something..? its was massive!! The main problem with it was the landing area...there was only one leveled out area but if you miss that your in a little bit of crap It'd be the most awesome feeling though! Falling underground

I was completely oblivious of the beer rules after my first jump. My DZ doesn't 'call' beer on the first jump but they don't mind if you buy em beer anyway lol I shouted a coupla slabs during student...first freefall (i did s/l)...own pack...etc etc and of course A license got B license coming up soon can't wait!

You never know...could be like one of those stories where mothers are able to lift cars to save there babies and all that kinda crap. With the chance of sudden death you might fight so hard to save yourself that you do and what a story it would be. Then again you might not..... lol

Usually on weekday nights but not to much anymore...i have work like 3 nights a week and then never home on the weekends either ...i just realised how much better jumping has made my life! lol

I'm only 16 so i haven't had all of my clowing up experiences yet. Have made a couplea sparkle bombs..where ya get lotsa those sparklers, scrape all the sparkle shit off and put it in a container and then use a soda bulb as the explosive and a sparkler as a whick. Big bang! Me and a mate are planing on going to the dodgy chinese shop soon where if you ask the right questions you get the cool explosives lol Anyone got any suggestions
