you could always file down/ cut off all of the hard plastic part of the plug leaving it still attached to the cord but bendy... i'm yet to try it but its an idea that i've had for a while i'm sure would work.....

Yep your right... FCP will edit with FCP.. These camera's may not plug in and work on a mac but there has to be some way to get around the problem?.....

Point taken... My container is actually 2 years older then that as a matter of fact I don't think it is a C-9. A C-9 is a bias constructed 28 flat. This is block, looks smaller and appears to be some sort of conical possibly with an extended skirt. It does not look like anything I can recall seeing before. Did your friend say what branch of the service he got it from? Sparky He got it from the Australian army but so i hear it 'failed' testing.... Whatever testing they did on it however i have no idea.... Would it have been a reserve?..

Ahh a whuffo friend of mine got me a sweet old round that was apparently rejected by the military. This is a picture of the sewn on patch on it.. Anyone know anything interesting about it? Hopefully it'll get windy enough so i can inflate it and get a mad pic of it later.

It is stealing but i do it and i can sleep at night. In reality i download songs and if i like the band i buy there album anyway.. even if i already have the whole thing. I especially do this with local music... i don't let anyone burn any of my australian cd's and australian dvd's...

I hear ya! I have at least one serve of bacon every day! And if I don't have bacon one day its only cos I've eaten all of the bacon already and there's none leaft in the fridge Hamburgers with little bits of bacon in them and then in ontop of the patty... now that's the shit!! hmmm i'm off to go make some bacon...

What everyone else said above.. But also while your still finding out what your instrcutors would be comfortable having you jump you could in the mean time purhaps look into the service of container companies for example and peoples opinions of them so that when it comes time you can make a more educated purchase.

On the rare occasion I do use packers, I will cock the P/C and set my brakes myself. I find this to be very common. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? I thought all packers got you to do this so that if one brake came undone or your pc wasn't cocked or something to that effect it wouldn't fall back on them...

Sometimes it is kind of pretty. My handle has folded in half under the main lift web a few times while puting my rig on. In this case i'm more then certain that stiffeners would help the situation. -

At the moment i'm using TDK tapes.. the cheapest they had when i bought my camera.. Bought these instead of sony because the guy in the camera shop informed me that there all made by the same company anyway.. just different cases.... Same deal as batteries.. same crap inside they just change the cases around :p -
I can only talk for video editing and not photoshop but what did you use for editing? FCP.. FCE.. imovie..?

Panther Price and improvements are there... Got some cool changes but I'm not sure there entirely necessary.. just depends on what you use your mac for.. -
Yeah Powerbooks get way hot!! And a G5 has 9 seperate fans.. might be a while before they can put that in a laptop...
