  1. Hey buddy, did you just see a real bright light?
  2. Finally got my 2nd jump. Perfect weather for it, which is certainly not the norm in northern Indiana this time of year... A) Havin a blast and lovin every minute of it! 2) Brain is tingling again and it's wantin more of it... c) Yeah, good point on that airplane thing. At least they're good for jumpin outta... 2nd jump. Just as exciting as the first. But this time with a "twist". Under the canopy, I look up and see a line twist. Start kicking out of it and my ground instructor comes over the radio and says you've got a line twist... I couldn't believe he could see it from all the way down there... "Kick out it then release your toggles and brakes", he says (or something along that line). No problem, a couple kicks and I'm good to go. A few turns and 360s later and it's time to flare flare flare... The good weather brought out the crowd today, several tandems, 1st time and 2nd time jumpers. 3rd jump I better bring a case of beer incase I toss the practice pull... Blue Skies! Todd
  3. Hi, my name is Todd, I made my first jump this last Saturday. It was an IAD from a Cessna at http://www.skydiveftwayne.com/. They had a good vibe and training program and a great staff of instructors, riggers and pilot. My impression of the jump? You guys and galls are Funkin Nutz! What in your right mind would make you want to jump out of a perfectly good aircraft and fall towards the earth while depending on a couple of nylon hankerchiefs to keep you alive? Are you kidding me??? I have the answer... Cuz it's Fuckin Awesome!!! The rush, the fear, the brain tingling sensation! I can't get enough!!! This shit is like Crack on, well crack!!! I haven't been able to fully put into words how it felt. Unfortunately the weather closed Sat afternoon and Sunday was nuthin but rain or I'd at least have my 2nd jump in by now. I haven't been able to sleep (I can eat), my previous hobby learning to fly a gyroplane, is prolly gonna have to be put on hold for a while. here's to all you crazy mofos out there! Todd
  4. I'm hours away from taking my first plunge. Your videos hit the spot!!! Excellent vids man, especially liked "learning to ground launch". Looks like you guys had a blast! Fly safe, Todd
