online plane ticket purchasing

Recommended Posts

I do lots of traveling and get my tickets off travelocity. I do a little bit of searching on the different sites, but most times I just give up. It gets too confusing and I have better things to do with my time rather than search and search for the cheapest airfare. I just got tickets today to head to Z-hills.

www.sidestep.com. it actually takes you to the airline specific website, but the search engine is outstanding and easy to use. Always compare whichever you're using to expedia or travelocity. Most of the time the prices are close, but on 1 or 2 occasions, one has been significantly less than the other.

Too, I've found that 3rd party bookings on Delta using expedia result in loss of e-ticket option...paper ticket only. This has occured at least 2 or 3 times when i've booked for someone else.

if you want someone to 'double check' some prices for ya, shoot me an email and i'll see what i can find based on the destinations and days.

also, if your dates are even the slightest bit flexible, try changing the dates of flight to tues or sat. some days are cheaper than others. :)

hope that helps,
