Where to Jump Near Greenville SC

I am helping a co-worker go for a tandem skydive. Which DZ's would be recommended in this area for a tandem and video?

I am an experienced skydiver but am not familiar with this area.

Please respond with more than just a DZ name. Give me some details.

Skydive Carolina in Chester SC, twin otter, Strong rigs, plenty of video/still talent, great safety record.

I agree with the recommendation, I do CRW there now and then as well as spend time in the loft there with Gus. I am not there a great deal as I chase CRW events all over but I am also organizing an event in a few weeks.

Steve, Judy and James are good to make contact with --they all work for the DZ owned by Danny Smith. It's a cozy DZ with a mellow atmosphere and also holds CASA events about once a month but have a nice Otter the rest of the time.

Hope you find it's a good place to enjoy yourself once you are there.

Chester is your closest turbine DZ. Tell the BirdMan posse I said "what up."

There is also Skydive Monore, in Monroe, GA. It is about the same amount of distance from Greenville as Chester is. Monore is a cool dz, I jump there a lot myself. The staff is very experienced, both tandem masters and video guys. If you have any more questions just PM me and I will do my best to answer any questions that I can.
