camera helmet

The only thing that comes to mind that fits that description is the FFX that is no longer made by 2kcomposites. There was one in the classifieds a while back...it might be a stretch but if you were looking for one you could post a wanted add for one there.
Hope this helps...

I have an FFX but I've found that having to load the camera from the inside is a real pain. You can't watch video, connect AV cables, charge the battery or anything with the outer box not being able to flip up. Also, having a wide angle lens causes you to have to remove the lens every time you want to remove the camera. Besides these points though I have had no problems with the helmet and I do enjoy it.

I also like FibreZone helmets:

as far as i know the lack of snag points would be the only advantage to the FFX over the FF2, and even at that the FF2 has practically no snag points. seeing as how they stopped producing the FFX and instead now make the FF2 should tell you something else as well. if i had a choice between the 2 i'd go for the FF2, it just so happens that i found a good deal on a used FFX when i was in the market for a new helmet.

According to the manufacturer himself, he stopped making the FFX because after some modifications to the original FF2 - it was just as snag proof as the FFX and yet also had the advantage of being able to access the camera from the outside. This meant that there was no advantage to having an FFX over the FF2 meaning it was far less popular so I guess there was no longer any point to producing it.

Last time I was round the factory they had a few FFX shells sat round so if you really wanted one I wouldn’t be surprised if they could sell you one... maybe even make you one from the old moulds if you asked nicely - you never know.

Also last time I checked DZ sports (UK dealer) had an FFX waiting to be sold... again you'd have to ask - here: http://www.dzsports.com/main.html

Rhys (K2) is right .I have a cookie helmet and I am well happy with it.They are well made with good internal padding(so good that you'll have to poke a hole through it if you want to hear your audible). The ratchet strap excess on the chin cup is stored internally(which is nice)
No pre-made slot for a cam eye so you'll have to get the drill out.But that's cool cos you get to play with power tools.
No cutaway system either but they are easy to fit.
Room for a stills mount on top, too.
Camera fits nicely in the box and you don't get camera shake like I've seen from some bracket mounted helmets
God gave men 2 brains, but only enough blood to fill one at a time....I can live with that.
